It is believed that when Lord Vishnu gave birth to Brahma Ji for creation of the universe, he alsogave birth to Amla tree. The Amla tree is revered by Lord Vishnu as the Adi tree. It is believed that Shri Hari Vishnu resides within the Amla tree.
